We need someone to assist our attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
You'll be in charge of preparing and typing correspondence, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, bills of particulars, and other documents.
Other responsibilities will include scanning, copying, and filing, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling meetings and court appearances, ordering supplies, and informing our legal team of upcoming deadlines.
You'll also order medical and billing records and submit paperwork electronically in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities:
Make calls and respond to emails, contact opposing attorney offices, take dictation, and advise the team of deadlinesCreate and proofread pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and papers for case preparationSubmit documents electronically in both state and federal court, and request billing and medical recordsSpeak with expert witnesses as well as clients, other vendors, and medical professionals
Qualifications:
Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environmentExperience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs1-2 years of prior experience in a personal injury law firm as a secretary or administrative assistantAn Associate's degree or some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is requiredProficient with MS Office productsAbout CompanyAt The Rizzuto Law Firm, we put our employees first.
