As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling defense litigation cases, personal injury cases, and civil lawsuits.
You must be admitted to practice law in New York and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
Handle defense litigation cases, personal injury cases, and civil lawsuits Conduct legal research and analyze cases to determine the best course of action Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Attend depositions, hearings, and trials Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys Negotiate settlements and plea bargains on behalf of clients Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve successful outcomes for clients Manage a caseload and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
Admitted to practice law in New York Minimum of 2 years of experience in defense litigation, personal injury, and civil lawsuits Trial experience is a plus but not required Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines Strong negotiation and advocacy skills Proficient in legal research and writing Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressureIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney with a passion for the legal industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
