The Marketing Team at Flushing Bank is responsible for the Marketing and Corporate Communications for the Company.
This includes the entire marketing management process including strategy and program development, implementation, and promotion of Bank's products and services, as well as communication, media, advertising and public relation plans, and expense management.
The Marketing Associate will assist in a variety of tasks in support of the business objectives at the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager and/or Marketing Director.
The candidate should be organized, creative, and analytical.
Must be self-motivated and be familiar with the financial services industry.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal skills needed to operate in a team-oriented environment.
An understanding of design to assist marketing managers in creating innovative advertisements and branding collateral for the various business units is desired.
Experience at an advertising agency or in a client services environment is preferred.
Must have experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or Communications Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and/or technical ability to learn design software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong MS Office Suite skills Team player that is creative, reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic Able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision Detail-oriented and the ability to follow up on tasks Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently Critical thinking and problem solving skills MAJOR DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Logistics and execution of Marketing plans.
Coordinate marketing requests from various business units.
Maintain Marketing and Events Calendar.
Invoice processing.
Create materials for various promotions.
Responsible for the production of the Weekly Marketing Package.
Organize the preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials.
Research competitors and their activities.
Responsible for maintaining marketing collateral and promotional items inventory logs.
Proofread all press releases, collateral, and internal announcements.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Pay Range $60,000.
00 - $70,000.
00 Hours:

50 This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime if hours worked are over 40 hours.
The actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience and other factors permitted by law.
