This is a provisional position that per Nassau County Civil Service rules can be converted to a permanent appointment if one takes the Nassau County Community Liaison Specialist I examination, when it is scheduled and attains a reachable score.
Applicants must be a Nassau County resident.
General Statement of Duties:
monitors the performance and program activities of contract agencies and conducts on-site reviews to gather information; provides technical assistance in relation to New York State and federal regulations; maintains records and prepares reports; and perform related duties as required.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university and two years of satisfactory, paid experience monitoring the performance of a community based agency.
Salary - Please note that this position has a non-negotiable starting salary of $54,380.
Salary increases to $70,573 after six months of employment.
